Abstract

A new, one-pot, four-component condensation of benzaldehyde derivatives, acetophenone derivatives, acetyl chloride and acetonitrile in the presence of sodium hydrogen sulfate as catalyst is described for the synthesis of β-acetamido ketones. ©ARKAT USA, Inc.
