Abstract

We introduce a number of paraconsistent semantics, including threevalued and four-valued semantics, for the description logic SROIQ, which is the logical foundation of OWL 2. We then study the relationship between the semantics and paraconsistent reasoning in SROIQ w.r.t. some of them through a translation into the traditional semantics. We also present a formalization of rough concepts in SROIQ. © 2010 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
