The objectives are as follows: To determine the effects of combined immunisation with OPV and IPV on intestinal mucosal immunity To determine any variation in effect with type of vaccine, number of doses, age at first dose, by human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) status or in high and low income countries To determine any serious adverse outcomes
