Abstract

This is an edition of the later recension of Acallam na Senórach contained in Royal Irish Academy manuscript 24 P 5 with critical apparatus in Irish. This, the longest version of the tale, is dated to the fourteenth or fifteenth century. The introduction contains a comprehensive account of all recensions of the Acallam and their manuscript transmission.
