Abstract

Chapters 1 and 3 introduce and analyze several age-structured or class age-structured epidemic models. These models describe the diseases transmitted from human to human directly. However, there are many diseases, such as malaria, Chagas disease, dengue fever, which are transmitted via a vector. In this chapter, we formulate and analyze age-structured or class age-structured vector-borne disease models.
