Abstract

Congressional overseers and outside experts are pressing the Bush administration to direct more of the $1.5 billion nanotechnology research program toward resolving the environmental, health, and safety issues raised by the manufacture and use of a rapidly growing number of nanoscale materials. © 2008 American Institute of Physics.
