Abstract

Despite government efforts and mobilization in the field of social work professionals, it is clear that many women victims of spousal violence do not seize any device intended to help them. This article aims to examine the social conditions of possibility for women to report violence, as social conditions for the emergence of a discourse are closely linked on the one hand to the legitimacy and social competence of the speaker, and on the other hand to the conditions of reception of the speech, even though spousal violence can be analyzed as the manifestation of consubstantial relations of domination. © ERES.
