Abstract

"Modularity" theory has been widely applied in product design and manufacturing, system development etc., meanwhile the notion of "modularity" has been infiltrating into researches and practicalities of current enterprises theories, industrial economy as well as enterprises strategies. Thus, the concept of "modularity" is a hot topic among experts of products design engineering, economist and operating specialists. Based on modularity classification researches to global product functions, through the logical integrate analysis of function-theory-method-entity, combined with relations upon the four levels, this paper puts forward one enterprises modularity decomposition method, which not only explains the variation of enterprises' structure, but also provides research clues for enterprises' modularity integration.
