Abstract
Transportation systems play an important role in maintaining the balance of modern civilization. Among them, one of the essential transport systems is air transportation system. So the study and proper maintenance of the air transportation network, either domestic or global, prove to be very much essential. The present paper provides an analysis of three major airline networks of India viz. Indigo, Jet Airways, and Air India from the perspectives of structure and robustness. The study is done by adopting complex network approach. A comparison of these three major airlines with Airport Network of India (ANI) based on some network parameters is also analysed.
