The emerging of artificial intelligences interventions in mental health presents many opportunities for more innovative research and medical practices that benefits different stakeholders. There is a growing research stream investigating the adoption of AI-enabled solutions from different perspectives. As patients are the ultimate consumers of mental health services, it is critical to understand patients’ perception and attitudes towards AI applications. This project aims to provide a scoping review about that addresses the current state of the relevant literature in terms of research methods, theories, and findings. Using such insights, the review identifies the research gaps and proposes directions for further development of the research stream.
