Abstract

In these days, mobile devices as smartphone offer users more applications, more communication bandwidth, and more processing, which together put an increasingly heavier burden on its energy usage, which advances in battery capacity do not keep up with the requirement of the modern user. In this paper, we intended to enhance the battery lifetime of mobile devices such as smartphone through communication-intensive offloading technique, we called EnPiler, that can be profile and offload energy intensive method units of communication-intensive applications.
