Abstract

The paper describes an attempt to combine different knowledge representation methods into the framework of a hybrid system and to apply such an integral system to the task of NL-processing for real short texts from a limited problem domain (X-Ray reports written in Russian). The semantic-oriented analysis is described which gives preference to the lexical-semantic and topical mechanisms to consider both the domain and text pragmatics.
