Abstract

Bilateral thromboses of the carotid artery present in the form of complete bilateral occlusion or in the form of unilateral occlusion associated with stenosis of the contralateral carotid artery. From our experience in a series of 20 patients extra-intracranial microanastomosis appears to be effective in both described groups.
