Abstract

In the concluding chapter of the book, a brief reviewof preceding chapters is provided. The purpose of this chapter is to reflect on common themes throughout the chapters, and to highlight some key areas for future work in interprofessional care coordination (ICC) for autism spectrum disorder. Specifically, some current and future priorities may include (1) person-centered and family-centered care coordination, (2) innovative assessment and servicemanagement approaches, and (3) teaming and telehealth models that reduce barriers to accessing coordinated services.
