Abstract

Both planktonic and benthic foraminifers were present in nearly every sample younger than Aptian. Preservation varied from generally poor in most Albian samples at each site to very good in most of the Campanian-Maastrichtian section. Paleogene sequences were generally well preserved, except in the mixed zone, where dissolution and recrystrallization were common. -from Author
