Abstract

The analysis of power and authority raises the question of coercion and government. These concepts when reconstructed, are constituent elements within an ‘engendered’ or feminized view of sovereignty. What undermines sovereignty is domination. To tackle domination, not only do we need to work through the state, but we must, at the same time, incorporate an element of ‘negativity’ into our conception of an emancipated stateless world.
