Abstract

Light trap and sticky trap catches of adult Trichoptera during five weeks in the summer of 1982 are compared. The relationship between the two samples would suggest that the light source is poorly attractive. The deformation of the aerial biocenosis due to the principle of trapping seems rather limited. Our results confirm the upstream migration of imagines. However it appears that wind has a strong effect on flight direction.
