Abstract

A strapdown airborne gravimeter of a peculiar configuration has been developed and is nearly operational for observing total acceleration. Precision high sampling rate GPS receivers provide the kinematic acceleration. The overall system and its hardware is analysed with focus on signal flow. © 2006 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
