It provides on-demand access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources, such as application servers, storage servers, networks, and services. These resources can be quickly provisioned and released, requiring a minimal management effort. All these features allow end users and companies to rely on third-party computing services paid according to the resources usage, which leads to economic and operation advantages, as they can focus in their core tasks and pay for just the used services.
