Abstract

The problem of unemployment in Spain is very difficult to resolve, and even more so in the time of the economic and financial crisis that we are still suffering. Consequently, many workers, some highly qualified, are deciding to emigrate to those countries of the European Union that they believe can give them the opportunity that they have not been able to have to date. However, the risk for these 21st-century adventurers is high, since much of their success will depend on the information they have obtained about the country of destination, information that is sometimes overly simplified. The complexity of this problem has led us to devise a simple but perhaps effective idea, consisting of proposing to the government that it find those recipient countries whose characteristics are the most suitable for greater adaptation and operation of the different profiles of workers who emigrate there. The new techniques derived from the multivalent logic can allow, through the maximum and minimum level indices with convex weighting and the Branch and Bound algorithm, to give a simple but coherent solution.
