Abstrak : Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang bagaimanakah gambaran kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah di SMP Negeri 2 Alla Kabupaten Enrekang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah di SMP Negeri 2 Alla Kabupaten Enrekang. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bagian kurikulum, guru IPA dan guru Matematika. Prosedur pengumpulan data melalui metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian tentang kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah di SMP Negeri 2 Alla Kabupaten Enrekang menunjukkan bahwa : (a) Kepala sekolah menyusun perencanaan operasional sekolah meliputi penyusunan RKAS, RKS, dan RKT. Berdasarkan evaluasi diri sekolah dan raport mutu. (b) Kepala sekolah mengelola dan mengembangkan sekolah menuju organisasi pembelajaran yang efektif meliputi pemberikan motivasi, bimbingan kepada guru, melakukan supervisi, dan pengarahan dalam pemanfaatan fasilitas pembelajaran di kelas. (c) Kepala sekolah menciptakan budaya dan iklim sekolah yang kondusif dan inovatif dengan menerapkan sistem kekeluargaan kepada seluruh warga sekolah dan pemberian motivasi kepada tenaga pendidik. (d) Kepala sekolah mengelola guru dan staf dengan melakukan pembagian tugas guru, penanaman disiplin guru, serta mengadakan koordinasi dalam rapat MGMP. (e) Kepala sekolah mengelola sarana dan prasarana sekolah dengan melakukan perbaikan dan pergantian sarana dan parasarana sekolah jika terjadi kerusakan. (f) Kepala sekolah mengalola pengembangan kurikulum dan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan melakukan penyusunan kurikulum sekolah dengan mengacu atau berpedoman pada kalender akademik yang telah dibuat oleh dinas pendidikan Kabupaten Enrekang yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi sekolah dan tenaga pendidik, serta kepala sekolah membantu guru dalam penyusunan RPP. (g) Kepala sekolah melakukan monitoring, evaluasi, dan pelaporan pelaksanaan program kegiatan sekolah yang meliputi memonitoring pelaksanaan program yang sedang dilaksanakan, mengevaluasi program, dan melaksanakan paloporan program dari hasil monitoring dan juga evaluasi yang telah dilaksanakan.Abstract : This study examines how the managerial competence of principals in state junior high school 2 Alla Enrekang Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the managerial competence of school principals in state junior high school 2 of Alla Enrekang Regency. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data sources in this study are the principal, deputy headmaster of the curriculum section, science teacher and Mathematics teacher. Data collection procedures through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques using the method of Miles and Huberman. The results of research on the managerial competence of school principals in state junior high school 2 Alla Enrekang Regency show that: (a) The principal prepares a school operational plan including the preparation of the RKAS, RKS, and RKT. Based on school self-evaluation and quality report cards. (b) The principal manages and develops the school towards an effective learning organization which includes providing motivation, guidance to teachers, conducting supervision, and directing the use of learning facilities in the classroom. (c) The school principal creates a conducive and innovative school culture and climate by applying a family system to all school members and providing motivation to the teaching staff. (d) The principal manages the teachers and staff by distributing teacher duties, instilling teacher discipline, and coordinating in MGMP meetings. (e) The school principal manages school facilities and infrastructure by making repairs and replacing school facilities and infrastructure in the event of damage. (f) The school principal manages curriculum development and learning activities by compiling school curricula by referring to or referring to the academic calendar that has been made by the Enrekang district education office that is adjusted to the conditions of the school and educators, and the principal helps teachers in the preparation of lesson plans. (g) The principal conducts monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of the implementation of the program of school activities which includes monitoring the implementation of the program being carried out, evaluating the program, and implementing the program report from the results of the monitoring and also the evaluation that has been carried out.Keywords : Managerial Competence.
