In this article, base on operating experience and current technology, we raise that establish 3-D table first and base on determination of 3-D table structural points and structural lines, acquire virtual dress by defining related interval values. We also concluded some effective and practical methods for 3-D garment style generation. Through fabrication and display of 3-D style, it enables designers or customers to operate interactively in a good visible environment, and view real-time design results intuitively and precisely in any time. From 2-D to 3-D, garment style designs become easier and make it possible to realize automatic style graph to 2-D clipped sheets transformation. © 2012 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
