Abstract

*[Proformica ossetica sp.n. is described from Northern Ossetia. The new species is close to endemic species from Caucasus: P. kobachidzei Arnoldi, 1968 & P. pilosiscapus Dlussky, 1969, but differs from these & other species by the character accumbent downiness of abdomen, more abundant raised downiness of a breasts & abdomen and measurements of a head both large, & small workers. The key of Proformica species workers of the Caucasus is given. ]
