Abstract

The article is devoted to the theoretical and methodological justification of public administration in the realities of the process of digitalization of the state and society. The conceptual features of the process of digitalization and its relationship with automation on the basis of “soft models” are indicated. The role and characteristics of public administration, principles, methodology, as well as the possibility of its implementation through the achievements of information and technological progress are outlined. The analysis of the existing practical adaptations of the concept of public administration on the example of the open government project is carried out. The analysis of measures of responsibility of the Government in the digital state is carried out. The necessity of modernization of the existing institutional infrastructure is determined. As a result of the fuzzy analysis of the state of affairs in public administration formed the main practical approaches to this process.
