Abstract

This paper emphasizes the place of the microfinance systems in the realm of the national financial system in Mexico. It analyzes how the saving and credit microfinancial circuits are constructed, the cost of its resources and their final destination. It evaluates how these resources become insufficient as far as they are isolated from other public policies that fight against women's poverty. Several proposals are suggested in order to articulate and strengthen women's businesses, which would timely allow them to accumulate a basic yet sufficient amount of savings and resources to improve their business and their living conditions.
