Abstract

Vulnerability of the Spanish flora, vegetation to climate change. In this paper we present the results of a research project aiming to evaluate the vulnerability of the Spanish flora, vegetation to climate change. Species distribution models were generated for the current climatic conditions, projected into modeled future conditions. The estimated evolution of 75 forest taxa, 145 threatened species showed that 23% of the former, 43% of the latter face a high or very high vulnerability risk.
