Abstract

Nowadays, many diagnostic methods based on providing information about the patient in the form of photographs, projections, cross-sections. Almost impossible to conduct an effective and efficient treatment without the use of modern tools to support the process of medical analysis. The main goal of this work is to develop a tool for medical diagnosis of colorectal cancer in order to determine the level of cell growth. As part of the work developed and tested the processing and analysis algorithms microscopic images of the colon cancer cells, leading to a quantitative description of the local parameters of the object, include the quantity, the growth and cell growth over time. The proposed algorithm has been written in the Matlab.
