Abstract

In recent decades, information security is becoming a great challenge in the digital world. The authentication of digital image plays a vital role in secured digital data transfer. There exist several techniques for digital image watermarking to provide the security but standardization has not been done yet. In this paper, a DCT-based robust digital image watermarking scheme has been proposed. The scheme selects each block for DCT randomly. The scheme is verified by the different parameter such as peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR), normalized correlation (NC), structural similarity index (SSIM), and bit error rate (BER) for measuring image quality as well as embedding proficiency.
