Abstract
Mathematical modeling also gives the information about designing of controller. The analysis and different application of PUC inverter such as inverter, rectifier, STATCOM and voltage controllers are given here. A brief review on PUC inverter for single phase operation, mathematical modeling and switching scheme is also presented. It has been shown that PUC inverter topology is preferable than the conventional multilevel inverter in terms of device counts.
