Since imaging diagnosis plays an important role in the practice of Neuro-oph-thalmology, it is fortunate that imaging diagnosis technology continues to progress over time. To ensure that the maximum power of the technology is being employed, the imaging diagnostic examination needs to be tailored to the characteristics of each particular disease. However, when the expected imaging findings are not demonstrated during an examination, the possibilities that need to be considered include inadequate examinations or the presence of another type of disease other than that which was expected.
