Abstract

We report on the performance of cryogenically cooled monolithic Si(111) channel-cut monochromator optics installed at the coherence beamline P10 of the PETRA III synchrotron source. Our results show that a high quality channel-cut monochromator crystal preserves the beam wavefront and provides excellent beam stability, which offers considerable benefits for coherent x-ray scattering experiments. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
