Abstract

College Chinese teaching has been recovered for more than thirty years. In the thirty years, many scholars have written many kinds of textbooks, some of high quality and some of poor quality. To compile a good College Chinese Textbook, the compiler should follow the following four basic principles: First, the principle of mother tongue education; second, the classic principle; the third is the transcendent principle; the fourth is the principle of openness. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH.
