Multimedia Teaching Model of College English Based on the Network

Abstract

The traditional foreign language teaching mode can no longer meet the realistic needs of the foreign language education in China and the strategic goal of the leapfrog development of our education. How to cultivate a large number of the talents with the high English application ability, especially listening and speaking abilities, which are suitable for the needs of the international exchanges, is an important task for the higher education in China. Therefore, it is necessary to innovate the foreign language education, that is, to innovate the educational viewpoints and modes. Therefore, actively exploring the computer and the network teaching modes is an important way of the college English teaching reform.
