Abstract

In order to improve the home network communication performance, research with two different communications, wired and wireless, is catching researchers' attention. We call this type of network as a mutual complementary home network. In this paper, we discuss some reliable communication methods for the mutual complementary home network and how to implement the methods. We developed a prototype system and evaluated the performance of one method. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2007.
