Abstract

Two novel supramolecular frameworks, [Co(en)3](dasb)(ClO 4)·H2O (1) and [Ni(en)2(H 2O)2](dasb) (2), constructed by 4,4′-diazido-2, 2′-stilbenedisulfonate anion (dasb)2- through weak interactions, have been synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. As expected, in the two structures sulfonate groups of the anion form strong hydrogen bonds with the coordinated en and water molecules as H-bond acceptor and the components were connected by the hydrogen bonds into 3D networks. © 2005 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
