Abstract

This brief review presents some of the important results obtained in the fi eld of a control of the organisation of hybrid materials prepared by the Sol-Gel process of precursors of the general formula RSi(O1.5) n. The different strategies involved are based on the used of weak supramolecular interactions during the hydrolysis/polycondensation process. © 2008 Springer Science+Business Media B.V.
