Abstract

The energy management and distribution will be complicated by upgrading the consecutive components in the future electrical grid. Therefore, several mechanisms amongst the inverter achieve the flexible injection of energy. The current framework presents a comparative analysis of the most frequently used industrial inverter controllers. In this context. Specifically, the Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation approach (SPWM), Third Harmonic Injection Pulse Width Modulation (THIPWM), and Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation approach (SVPWM) strive to determine the optimum strategy regarding harmonic components, distortion factors, and their effect on power management flow and quality. Furthermore, various inverter control strategies are described in the literature under normal operating circumstances. Therefore, this paper aims to shed new light on the realistic comparison of inverter control under typical and shadow conditions using advanced fuzzy logic Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) and grey wolf optimizer techniques specified in test scenarios. Finally, multiple indicators are combined to conclude that the Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) technique is a preferable inverter control approach that should be emphasized when designing solar inverters.
