Abstract

A study on efficient solving of parametric interval linear systems using GPU computing is presented. Several illustrative examples from structural mechanics are employed to show that the proposed approach can significantly reduce computation time for this kind of problems. The stress is put on large uncertainties which are usually hard to be dealt with other, less time-consuming methods. © 2014 Springer-Verlag.
