The Dream Chaser Spacecraft: Changing the Way the World Goes to Space

Abstract

As one of the most innovative U.S. companies in space, Sierra Nevada Corporation’s (SNC) Space Systems business area designs and manufactures advanced spacecraft and satellite solutions, space habitats and environmental systems, propulsion systems, precision space mechanisms and subsystems, and SNC’s celebrated Dream Chaser. In the first of its kind mission, the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) is partnering with SNC to offer United Nations Member States the opportunity to participate in an orbital space mission using SNC's Dream Chaser spacecraft. This mission would support non-space faring countries and institutions so that the Dream Chaser mission can really enable inclusive access to space.
