Abstract

Digital revolution changes mechanical to digital technologies and establishes new requirements for instruction, assessment and learning mechanisms and processes, which can be defined under the umbrella of education 3.0 on challenges coming from the expected new industrial revolution. Although education system become more open and flexible, there are many confusion issues during the interface design process. One of this is size, diversity and availability of digital screens. How screens affect learning and, therefore, the interface design process of the digital textbooks? This scientific question inspired the ideas presented in this chapter. The chapter describes the specific features of the digital revolution’ phases and their impacts on literacy, competence development and didactic triangle.
