Abstract

This chapter aims to describe the contexts and technology by which the experimental scenarios have been performed and designed. The general approach of the studies presented in the book started from very controlled settings to realistic environments. From scientific literature, reviews concerning the phenomena under investigation, specific and controlled tasks were selected and used to test the developed methodologies. The final goal was to define and tune neurometrics able to provide objective information regarding changes of the considered cognitive phenomena along the execution of the tasks.
