Abstract

Furthermore, as an empiricist I even have to (at least) go through the motions of an open mind in regard to parapsychological phenomena (ESP). While these strange ‘facts’ (if they are not products of deception, illusion, delusion, etc.) need not necessarily militate against the basic physicalistic program of science, they might yet force upon us incisive revisions of our total theoretical outlook on mind and nature.
