Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self concept dan self perception dengan keterampilan metakognitif. Penelitian menggunakan metode korelasional. Sampel terdiri dari kelas XI MIPA 4 dan XI MIPA 5 berjumlah 53 peserta didik dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan angket Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI), angket self concept dan angket self perception. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, hubungan self concept dengan keterampilan metakognitif memiliki nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,355 termasuk dalam kategori korelasi rendah. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,126 yang berarti self concept berkontribusi sebesar 12,6% terhadap keterampilan metakognitif. Hubungan self perception dengan keterampilan metakognitif memiliki koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,304 yang termasuk dalam kategori korelasi rendah dan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,092 yang berarti self perception berkontribusi sebesar 9,2% terhadap keterampilan metakognitif. Hubungan self concept dan self perception dengan keterampilan metakognitif memiliki nilai koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,383 yang termasuk dalam kategori korelasi rendah. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R 2) sebesar 0,147 yang berarti self concept dan self perception berkontribusi 14,7% terhadap keterampilan metakognitif. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan korelasi rendah antara self concept dan self perception dengan keterampilan metakognitif. Abstract This study aims to determine the relationship between self concept and self perception with metacognitive skills.The research used the correlation method. The sample consisted of XI MIPA 4 and XI MIPA 5 classes, totaling 53 students using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection using the Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) questionnaire, the self concept questionnaire and the self perception questionnaire. The analysis technique used is the multiple correlation test. Based on the results of the study, the relationship between self concept and metacognitive skills has a correlation coefficient of 0.35. It's categorize of low category. Determination coefficient value of 0.126 which means that self concept contributes 12.6% to metacognitive skills. The relationship between self perception and metacognitive skills has a correlation coefficient of 0.304 which included in the low correlation category. The determination coefficient value of 0.092 which means that self perception contributes 9.2% to metacognitive skills. While the relationship between self concept and self perception with metacognitive skills has a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.383 which included in the low correlation category. The coefficient a determination (R 2) of 0.147, which means that self concept and self perception contribute 14.7% to metacognitive skills. It can be concluded that there is a low correlation between self concept and self perception with metacognitive skills.
