Abstract

The objective of this article is to analyze the importance of green logistics in the foreign trade, based on the internationalization and commercialization of products, implying in recent years an environmental deterioration. The current business and commercial trends, as a result of globalization, have generated the need to implement tools and alternatives to reach the international market, having factors immersed in international business such as export and import operations allowing commercial exchange; regardless of the damage caused to the ecosystem, a situation that commits all of humanity and that few are aware of this issue, which today becomes a priority of the international agendas of the countries. The strategies of the companies to increase their competitiveness are inscribed in the axis business, government, country and economic block, where the decisions that the consumers take, suppose an impact on the planet, being able to determine how green logistics becomes relevant in today's world, and how environmental issues become a priority issue not only for the country but for the actors in the logistics chain.
