Abstract

The article focuses on the increasing use of fitness trackers as a tool for promoting employee health and wellness. Topics discussed include the use of fitness trackers for providing several health metrics and the possibility of integrating these wearable devices into corporate wellness programs through wireless connectivity. The compliance of health programs with health insurance laws and the provision of incentives for ensuring long-term participation are also mentioned. INSET: Sizing Up Fitness Trackers.
