Abstract

This article describes how health care, including public health, is financed, organized, and delivered in Canada. Particular attention is paid to recent developments and reforms that have led to greater integration of public health into provincial and regional health-care systems as well as the establishment of the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) at the national level. ?? 2008 Copyright ?? 2008 Elsevier Inc.
