Abstract

In a recent paper on the subject of pigments for plastics the emphasis was on the stability and fastness of pigments as well as on pigmentation at a later stage, which was fully discussed. There is hardly anything new that could be added to this, As far as the pigment stability and fastness are concerned, progress in standardisation could be discussed. Furthermore, an attempt is made to provide a survey of pigments and point out general development tendencies. The term pigments should, in the widest sense, include preparations which are worked out partly for special plastics grades. For figures see German Text.
