Meeting the Cybersecurity Challenge

Abstract

Chapter 1discussed the challenges facing today's cyberdefenders. So how does an enterprise successfully defend itself against cyberattackers? This chapter will discuss the challenges in building an effective cyberdefense, some of the major approaches that are currently available for addressing those challenges, and some of the difficulties with those approaches. Finally, it will introduce a technique for dealing with those challenges.
