Abstract

Serological and molecular methods indicate influenza C virus is globally distributed and that the majority of the population has antibodies to the virus [1-3]. This method is a real time RT-PCR duplex assay targeting the matrix protein and non-structural genes of influenza C virus. © 2010 Springer Science+Business Media B.V.
