Arguments in favor of narrow-beamed SETI signals transmitted by ``civilization-senders'' (CS) directly towards target stars are revealed. This consideration gives us, as a ``civilization-receiver'' (CR), the grounds to search near the ecliptic and around the moment when the candidate CS is in astronomical opposition with the Sun. A list of 29 candidate stars, with their dates of opposition, are presented for desirable international patrol observations.
